I’m a hip-hop producer first and MC second, based out of Atlanta by way of Fairfax, Virginia. I wasn’t always a hip-hop head, coming from the suburbs of northern Virginia, and the son of first-generation Korean immigrants. I’ve played instruments for most of my life, but never used those talents like I am now. Back then, all different genres of music went in and out of relevance throughout my middle and high school years. I was a fan of 90’s rap at the time, but it wasn’t until my first year of college where I got inspired by the sounds of Philadelphia, to make my own.
Now, about 4 years later, living in Atlanta, I’m swimming in an ocean with a whole scene of other hungry artists, MC’s, DJ’s and producers. Like them, I’m working hard to turn this passion into a career. KatoDaily.com is my record of everything I do.
I also have a side hustle working with Grind Time, the GA. division.
